Welcome

We are located at 525 Shunpike Road, Chatham, NJ 07928. We are a faith-based preschool. Founded in 1973, we are blessed to be approaching 40 years of ministering and serving children and their families in the community!

Our goal at LHCP is to provide readiness skills - cognitive, social/emotional, physical, and spiritual - in a warm & caring school environment.

We currently offer classes for... (see programs page for 2012-13 schedule)

2 1/2 - year olds
2 mornings per week.
3 year olds
2 or 3 mornings per week.
4 year olds
4 mornings or extended day 4's (2:00pm dismissal on Wednesdays.)
Kindergarten Enrichment
2 afternoons per week for children attending half-day Kindergarten programs.
Lunch Bunch and Soccer provide enrichment and extended hours.

What we are known for...

Alumni students who are well prepared for Kindergarten.
Small teacher:child ratios.
Two parent/teacher conferences each school year, Spring and Fall.
Courtesy drop-off and pick-up. If you are a parent of an infant or toddler, or have a sick sibling in the car, call ahead (between 9-9:10am) and a staff member will be waiting outside to escort your child to their classroom. The same applies for pick-up.
Tuition assistance and scholarships for families facing financial challenges.
Indoor and outdoor recess. We are blessed to have a gym for inclement weather.
Special Events: Christmas Concert, Family Movie Night, Fall Parent Teas, Chick Hatching Program, Art Show, Field Trips, Community Service Projects, Four-Year-Old Circus Show.
Special Visitors: Fire Truck, Police Officer, Dentist, Farm.
